Recently it’s becoming increasingly evident that 3D printing is a game changer for most industries’ design processes. Cutting edge technology is making it possible to improve early prototypes and reduce turnaround time.

Creating parts in house is easier then ever which is helping to decrease the reliance on offsite providers.

However sometimes 3D printing isn’t about that. Sometimes, it’s just nice to have access to a state of the art CAD software and a 3D printer to make home life a little more comfortable. In this video we’re showcasing how one of our elite engineers created his own bespoke IPad stand. The pattern shown in the video was created using the new 3D texture tool and the design was tested using SOLIDWORKS Nashville Simulation.
